2022 Call for Session Proposals

Deadline: December 10, 2021

PROPOSALS ARE DUE December 10, 2021.

The Arkansas Museums Association is planning its 2022 Annual Conference, which will be held at DeGray Lake Resort State Park in Bismark, Arkansas on March 28-30, 2022.  The goal of the conference is to support and foster the museum community through a mix of speakers as well as workshops, practical and informative presentations, in-depth discussions, and examples of projects and initiatives that are relevant to museums in Arkansas. AMA members take ownership in the conference experience as presenters, speakers, panelists, facilitators, and workshop leaders.

This year, the AMA conference theme is "Highways, Byways, and Waterways: Museums in Motion." Our museums, with a rich history of transportation, act as agents of change, endurance, and progress. Join us at AMA 2022 at Lake DeGray to explore how to examine the past while adapting for the future. While we encourage proposals that reflect that concept, it is not a requirement for submission.

Please read all guidelines thoroughly before submitting your proposal!

Proposals are due by December 10, 2021. Members of the AMA Professional Development Committee will review all submissions and notify presenters after December 13th.
